If by safety you mean a 0% Commission model which helps you make more profit, then please double check if the website/app you are buying mutual fund offers “Direct Plan Mutual Funds”. If not then your profits are not safe.
Your invested money may safely reach the AMC, but will the profits reach you first or will the broker go for it? It is established that direct mutual fund plans help you make 40% more than regular plans. (pl check my profile for the graph).
Safety therefore is not just security, encryption and funds reciept. It is a broader topic!
