Open ended mutual funds are not traded on exchanges. You can simply buy and sell them at the Mutual Fund house, or using a reliable platform. Make sure you only deal in Direct Plan Mutual Funds because you avoid broker commissions.

Some close ended mutual funds are tradeable on the exchange. Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs) are a class of funds that are also tradeable realtime in an exchange.
