Compare that with equity or debt funds here, where currency swings and market falls both bite. Safety plus a good rate beats uncertainty for many savers.<\/p>\n<p>Balance still matters. These deposits run three to five years with no exit in the first year, so treat them as your safe bucket and nothing more. Long term wealth still comes from equities and India&#8217;s growth.
